LocationThe conference will take place at the Maritim Hotel and International Congress Centre situated on the banks of the River Elbe in Dresden, Germany. Dresden is one of Germany's most beautiful cities. Protected for centuries by mighty fortifications, the Saxon capital is testament to centuries of building and wealth with glorious architecture from the Renaissance, baroque and 19th century. In spite of vast destruction during the Second World War, the Old City part of Dresden has been rebuilt including the most famous symbol of reconstruction – the Dresden Frauenkirche Church with its magnificent baroque dome which dominates the city centre. Dresden is full of character with numerous shops, restaurants and major attractions well within walking distance. Dresden has excellent road and rail links to many European cities.
