Leo van Wüllen obtained his PhD from the University of Münster in 1993. After a two-year
postdoctoral stay with Prof. Eckert and Prof. Ford at the University of California in Santa
Barbara, he continued his research at the University of Münster (1996) and then at the MPI
for Solid-State Research in Stuttgart (1998– 2003). In 2002, he completed his habilitation in
physical chemistry at the University of Münster, where he has continued his research on new
NMR strategies for the characterization of the structure and dynamics of inorganic materials
since 2003.
