Dr. Clément Sanchez
Clément SANCHEZ was born in 1949 in Paris (France). He was studying at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Paris (ENSCP) from which is obtained the Major Award in 1978 and he integrated a permanent position at the Centre national de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS). He obtained a PHD in Physical-Chemistry from the University Pierre et Marie Curie in Paris in 1981 and did a post-doctoral training at the University of Berkeley in 1984 with the support of a NATO Fellowship. He was Professor at the prestigious Ecole Polytechnique between 1991 and 2003. Today, he is Director of Research at the CNRS, head of the CNRS-University Pierre et Marie Curie laboratory named “Chimie de la Matière Condensée de Paris” and he is head of Nanochemistry Division of C’Nano Ile de France.
His services as membership in many scientific and editorial boards of high quality journals are the following: Editor in Chief of the New Journal of Chemistry 2000-2004, Editorial board of Chemical communication 2000-2004, Editorial board of the Journal of Materials Chemistry 2005-2008 and Advisory Board of Chemistry of Materials 2004-2008 and New Journal of Chemistry 2005-2008.
