Dr. Caroline Mellot-Draznieks

Dr Caroline Mellot-DraznieksCaroline Mellot-Draznieks obtained her PhD at IFP (Institut Français du Pétrole), Paris. Having worked as a R&D scientist for L’Air Liquide, she subsequently held post-doctoral positions at the University of California, Santa Barbara and at the University of Versailles. She joined CNRS as a research fellow at the Institut Lavoisier (Versailles) in 1998, and moved in 2005 to the Davy Faraday Research Laboratory at The Royal Institution of Great Britain, London. She currently holds an EPSRC Advanced Fellowship in the Chemistry Department, at UCL. Her current research interests include characterisation of nanoporous materials, simulation studies of sorption and separation properties, computational chemistry of inorganic solids and hybrid metal-organic frameworks, and the prediction and computational design of crystal structures.
